URBAN FEST Druzhkivka: an event that becomes a tradition

The URBAN FEST Druzhkivka has been taking place for the third year in the East of Ukraine, in Druzhkivka. The festival got into a shortlist of Social Project Awards in Ukraine. URBAN FEST Druzhkivka is the first Urban Festival in the city and region. It combines sports events, an interactive entertainment area for children and adults, workshops, an open university, street food and a musical scene for modern Ukrainian bands: BAHROMA, Fontalizza, 5 Vymir, PUR:PUR, Cape Cod feat. Constantine etc. The organizer of the event is the public organization ‘Nova Druzhkivka’, headed by Sergei Pronkin. NGO ‘Nova Druzhkivka’ also organizes meetings for active people in the Platform of initiatives ‘Halva Hub’, the Halva web-magazine, urban projects, for example a functional map of trams, film shows, tourist festival, art installations, half marathons, etc.
