Two years ago four students, having nothing but scholarship and youthful enthusiasm, had rented a garage to prepare for a physics competition. Over the time, the garage got filled with people, installations and machines, there was no empty space anymore. In a year one garage had grown up to five, the fun of four students had turned into a social platform and a public workshop with accurate, but simple and affordable equipment. Recently the team has left the garage cooperative and moved to a new spacious room. The new workshop holds a prototyping / design area and a zone with working equipment, machines and dyes.
Garage Hub is an open space for all. Residents of the workshop use available equipment to realize their projects: from lamps to the drawing room of their own design to the development of a machine with numerical control. The workshop team conducts master classes and educational courses for those wishing to create their first engineering project.
